Portfolio - Pergolas & Features

Pergolas can provide that wonderful hint of something to be discovered in your garden, whilst features such as water or sculpture provide focal points to lead the eye.

This contemporary water feature in Guildford brings the sound and movement of running water to our clients entertaining area, adding to the lush ambience of the raised bed planted with jungle like plants.

The bright green grasses planted next to the feature add colour and interest against the monochrome materials used for the hard landscaping.

This pond in Worplesdon was deliberately raised so that our client's grandchildren couldn't fall in.

We used buff landscape bricks and hand cut the coping to match the natural golden sandstone that we used for the patio.

The pergola we built as part of this project in Send defines the area between the children at the back and the perfectly level ornamental lawn in front.

Using shingle with sandstone inserts helps to define the space under the pergola and provides further distinction between the two different purpose lawns.

This square and chunky pergola in Shepperton was hand built to add interest to an otherwise unused corner of the garden.

It also provided another 'destination' and seating area from which to sit and contemplate the rest of the garden.
